I've prepared athletes for running races, hikes, open water swims, and multisport events. I've worked with a wide-range of athletes, from those preparing for their first race to those preparing for world championship level races.

I was your typical runner in my 30s - running a couple of times a week and signing up for races with little to no training. This approach led to pain, injury, and eventually hanging up my running shoes to pursue other outdoor sports. Fast forward a couple of decades and I decided to try running again. It didn't take long for the old aches and pains to kick in, but this time with more severe injuries from running too far, too fast, too often, and with no regular cross-training. It was when I could no longer walk even one mile without experiencing terrible Achilles tendon pain that I took the plunge and signed up with Coach Steph. Six months later I ran my first half marathon, and six months after that completed my first endurance event. Working with Coach Steph has completely changed my life!
